Die Pentax Optio VS20 ist eine Kompaktkamera mit manuellen Funktionen (eingeschränkt). Mit zweitem, seitlichen Auslöser für Hochformataufnahmen. Kleiner Bildchip mit 16 Megapixel (Normalbrennweite: 9 mm). Macht insgesamt noch gute Bilder (Note: 2,5). Sehr gute Farbwiedergabe. Auflösung eher enttäuschend. Verwacklungsschutz gut. Eindruck im Sehtest aber nur befriedigend.

In essence the VS20 commits a few crimes against photography, the worse of which being unpredictability. Neither the lens nor white balance can be depended on from one shot to the next, making the VS20 an unknown quantity in most situations.

You'll struggle to find a new camera with such impressive specs any cheaper. Sadly, the Pentax Optio VS20's performance didn't stand up to close scrutiny. The dual shutter buttons are a neat feature, but you may be better provided by a high-end camera from last year, which will come close to matching the specs at a similar price.
