Fazit

Mit der aktuellen Firmware ist auch die Auflösung im Telebereich gut, dafür hat das Rauschen zugenommen. Dank der etwas besseren Bildqualität gibt es jetzt auch für die Cyber-shot ein "Sehr gut".

Fazit

Sonys Cyber-shot DSC-HX300 (Praxis) könnte sich durch ihre gute Bildqualität und die schnelle Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit von der Konkurrenz deutlich absetzen, wenn sie nicht den ein oder anderen Schwachpunkt hätte. Neben dem schwachen Telebereich und dem schlechten Sucher ist die Anschlussvielfalt nicht gerade üppig, auch die Bedienung könnte noch besser umgesetzt sein. Wer mit diesen Nachteilen leben kann, erhält einen guten "Ultrazoomer" mit ansprechender Bildqualität.

The Cyber-shot HX300 brings a 50x zoom and 20 million pixels to Sony's bridge camera. But as impressive as those numbers may look on the spec sheet, in real terms, their advantages are debatable. OK, so the HX300 zooms a bit further than last year's model but, on the whole, Sony's bridge is treading water and has even regressed on some fronts when compared with competitors.

Gute, sehr große Kompaktkamera mit Superzoom und manuellen Funktionen. Besonders gut im Sehtest. Guter Monitor zum Klappen. Mit elektronischem Sucher. Schneller Autofokus: für einzelne Aufnahmen schnappschusstauglich, nicht aber für schnelle Serien. Dick und sehr schwer. Für eine Kompaktkamera sehr teuer (Stand: Juli 2013).

Ähnlich wie die Fujifilm HS50 EXR leidet die Sony unter einem sehr starken Auflösungsverlust im Telebereich. Davon abgesehen liefert die Kamera aber gute bis sehr gute Ergebnisse.

Fazit

Like the Nikon Coolpix P520, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC- HX300 is more a point-and-shoot than a full-fledged bridge camera, such as the Fujifilm FinePix HS50EXR or Canon PowerShot SX50 HS. The Sony is just a step ahead of the Nikon in terms of performance and it's a better option for snapshooters. Plus, it's got a longer lens.

The HX300 is a decent superzoom with plenty of features on offer. It performs well and has a stonkin' great zoom lens, but it's the resulting images which lack the finery we'd have hoped for - but no surprise given the high-resolution sensor. A good all-rounder.
