Die Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246) gehört zweifellos zu den sonderbarsten Kameras. Für einen erstaunlich hohen Preis gibt’s überraschend wenig Technik. Immerhin sind noch Full- HD-Video und Wasserwaage mit an Bord. Weitere Extras fehlen komplett. Aber ganz ehrlich: Haben wir’s anders erwartet? Kaum. ...

I did find first-hand that Leicas are extremely popular when I was shooting around Boston. I was approached by no less than 10 people asking if I was shooting with a Leica–most in disbelief that it was the new Leica M Monochrom. Keep in mind that I've walked around this city with the best cameras on the market and never seen anything like this...

Die Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246) gehört im Test zweifellos zu den sonderbarsten Exoten. Für einen erstaunlich hohen Preis gibt‘s überraschend wenig Technik. Nebst exzellenter Schwarzweiß-Bilder sind immerhin noch Full-HD-Video und Wasserwaage mit an Bord. Weitere Extras fehlen komplett. Dafür kauft man nicht einfach eine Profi-DSLM. ...
